During our monthly RQT Roundtable networking events we bring the quantum/AI and cybersecurity community together in interdisciplinary settings, to fullfil our mission to unlock the boundless potential of quantum and AI - of classical data and quantum information. RQT Ventures is determined to lead American companies to the forefront of the imminent quantum revolution, in market verticals such as Life Sciences and Healthcare, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Logistics, Automotive, Energy, Cleantech, Defense, and Space. We believe that quantum technology will act as an accellerator for artificial intelligence, and vice versa. AI needs Quantum, and Quantum needs AI. Our vc fund aims to shape a world where quantum advancements contribute to desirable social goals, enabling a prosperous, safe future for everyone.

RQT Ventures spun-out from the Stanford Quantum Incubator (SQI), building on the legacy of the Stanford Center for Responsible Quantum Technology (RQT) founded by Mauritz Kop. The SQI Project was launched at Stanford by Greg Berkin, Bradley Horowitz, David Hornik and Mauritz Kop in 2024. Building on the success of the inaugural SQI Networking Event held at Stanford Law School on November 1th 2024 we decided to spin SQI out to a vc fund named RQT Ventures.
